Cllr Hardisty, Vice Chairman of the Planning Committee, took the Chair in the absence of Cllr Goring.

Apologies were received from Cllr Goring.

3.         Interests of Members

            No interests were declared.        

4.         Minutes of the last meeting

            Minutes of the last meeting held on 16^th January 2006 were approved and signed.

5.                   Matters arising

West Sussex Design Commission: Consultation on design principles

They will be making a presentation to the 4^th April meeting of the Planning Committee. Neighbouring parishes to be invited.

Thakeham Tiles TPO: Complaint from resident

Company had responded to letter from clerk; HDC Enforcement had visited site and arranged TPO and did not feel any further action required. Complaint also received by Washington Parish Council. Clerk to arrange for Cllrs Berry and Prince to visit the site to gain a better understanding of the extent of the preservation order.
