Apologies were received from Cllr Messenger.

DC/06/0298 (T/06/12) The Old Rectory, The Street, Thakeham
Fell 1 Lime tree (Works to Trees in Conservation Area)
Cllr Dawes declared a prejudicial interest as an applicant and withdrew from the meeting at the appropriate time.
3. Minutes of the last meeting
Minutes of the last meeting held on 7th February 2006 were approved and signed.
4. Matters arising
Thakeham Tiles TPO: Complaint from resident
Letter received from Company in response to letter from and conversations with clerk; also further letter received from resident. It was agreed that Cllr Prince would contact Mr Will Jones/HDC for more detail regarding the TPO before a site visit by Cllrs Berry and Prince is arranged.
Little Thakeham Farm: 2 bedroom property to let. Letting restrictions absent from final permission.

40% crown thinning to 2 oak and 1 beech tree
Received for information as trees may overhang into Thakeham.
6. Planning Applications for consideration
DC/06/0298 (T/06/12) The Old Rectory, The Street, Thakeham
Fell 1 Lime tree (Works to Trees in Conservation Area) (NP)
NO OBJECTION, provided a replacement Lime tree is planted as close to the wall as is practical.
DC/06/0301 (T/06/13) Saxon Hill, The Street, Thakeham
Provision of accommodation at first floor with dormer windows and
replace existing garage with carport (KD)
NO OBJECTION, subject to the use of materials that match the existing property and also subject to the withdrawal of the previously granted planning application.
DC/06/0288 (T/06/14) Danfield, Harbolets Road, West Chiltington
Erection of 1 dwelling (Outline) (KD)
STRONG OBJECTION. The property is outside the built-up area and therefore subject to countryside policies. The proposed property is not connected with agricultural need and there are serious concerns regarding highway safety in terms of access and sight lines.
