Walks around Tillicoultry
                TillicoultryGlen 2.5km :- A circular walk up steps, hillside and bridges. If coming from Stirling along the A91 turn left at the Royal Arms, from Alloa turn left at mini roundabout (straight on from Dollar) at turn right at Royal Arms. Continue up the road (Uppermill Street) you Will see parking on your left. The Glen entrance is about a hundred yards in front of you. Here you can take the path straight ahead of you or go up the steps to your left, it is up to you as you will come back to where you started. At the top of the glen the views are breath taken. you will pass the remains of the old wooden dam powered by the fast flowing Tillicoultry Burn as well as the disused Quarry. 

 

Tillicoultry to Blackford via Glendevon Reservoir 17km. Hard route footpath and track.Map, Compass and Hillwalking gear are essential.

Tillicoultry to Alva woodland Park cross over the footbridge in Uppermil Street into Scotland Place go straight ahead onto the tared track at the bottom of the ramp turn left. now head straight ahead for the woodland park. This walk can be muddy strong boots are recommended. Also worth a visit is the Wood Hill for more information on the Wood Hill visit  www.wt-woods.org.uk/WoodHillWood

The Devon Way is on the site of the old Devon Valley Railway. Here you can walk to Dollar or Alloa. Access from car park opp. Devonvale Hall.
