Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, Scotland, won Website of the Month in October, for its fantastic content and outstanding information it contains. Now it has gone a step further to win Website of the Year 2006. A big Congratulations!

This site has endeavoured to be as informative as possible, and the administrator, Ian Millar, has put an incredible amount of community information on the site. This information varies from the types of activities you can do in the local area, such as fishing and walking, to community events; Santa's Grotto and the Over 70's Outing. The site is visually interesting; Ian has loaded a great deal of photo's on the site, allowing residents and visitors to see community events and the local countryside. The use of colour and cartoons also allows visitors to differentiate between areas of the site and take them to where they wish to go.

The Local Council section goes further than documenting who the Councillors are and the minutes of Council meetings; there is information on how to become a Councillor, what the Local Council does, Local Trusts, contact numbers, and a lot more.

The site is a fine example of how a community website can benefit its residents and promote a great neighbourhood kinship.
