Website security

The Parish Council website is technically managed by The Local Channel but the information placed on it is provided by the Clerk via a secure and changeable password.

• Ø No unauthorised write access is permitted to the Parish Council website.
• Ø No sensitive data relating to members of the Parish Council is placed on the website.
• Ø No sensitive data relating to ongoing processes, such as planning applications are placed on the website.

Digital records and emails

Parish Council records and email communications must be, and are, protected by good quality virus protection software and firewalls.
