Whitwell with Crambe Parish Council

Minutes of the Meeting held on Saturday 20th May 2006, at Crambe.

Members present:

Mrs J Denton, Chairman

Mr I Foxley

Mr E L Thompson, Clerk

Apologies for absence were received from Mr S Cook and Mrs J Hodgson.

The minutes of the meeting held on 11th February 2006 were read and approved.

Matters arising:

1.  Bus shelters

Negotiations with NYCC have resulted in a verbal mutual agreement to accept their shelter design in exchange for maintenance and responsibility for both shelters being rested with NYCC in perpetuity.  This has not yet been received in writing.

2.  Tree Preservation Order

Although presumed confirmed, this is still lacking in clarity and further details are awaited.

3.  Correspondence received

This was noted with little comment.

4.  Clerk’s costs:

The Clerk stated that due to the bus shelter repairs, his costs were £223.50 plus the annual insurance premium which he is currently negotiating.  Bus shelter repairs £200 and running costs £23.50.

5.  Website:

No decision on who will continue the administration when Cllr. Hodgson leaves office.

6.  Whitwell with Crambe Parish Plan:

The parish plan is proceeding.  A meeting will be arranged for 3rd June.  The survey questionnaires are being collected.  The parish plan bank account requires further signatures before it can be opened.

7.  Other business:

Residents are being asked to provide a candidate to co-opt instead of Mrs. Hodgson.

The next meeting will be on Saturday 29th July 2006 at 9.30am in Crambe Church.
