2.                  The minutes of the meeting held on 20th May 2006 were read and approved.

3.                  Matters arising:

i)          Bus shelters - Written confirmation regarding NYCC taking over full responsibility for both shelters on the A64 is still awaited.

ii)                   Tree preservation order - This has now been confirmed.

4.                  Correspondence received - This was noted with little comment.

5.                  Website:

Mrs Hodgson will continue to administer the site for the time being.

6.                  Whitwell with Crambe parish plan:

Due to the Resignation of John Teale from the committee, Chris Gillam from Whitwell has been asked to take over.  To date there has been no response.  Nothing has been heard from John Teale since the council wrote to him on the 24th July.  Cllr. Foxley reported that there had been a 64% return of questionnaires which was lower than hoped for.

7.                  Other business:

                        i)          It was noted that pot holes on a bend in Shepherd's Field Lane were to be reported to the Highways Authority along with a suggestion to make it a passing place.  Pot holes in Whitwell approach road would be notified as well.

ii)         IF has stated that the playing field at Whitwell is in the wrong place and should be relocated to where the children gather at the east end of the village.

iii)                 The  Audit is overdue and the Clerk will forward the relevant documents to Mrs. Hodgson.

8.                  The next meeting will be on Saturday 21 October 2006 at 9.30am in Crambe Church.

9.                  The Chairman declared the meeting closed.
