- Direct communication between the parish council (and our other elected representatives) and local residents
- Ways to help you find out about your local services and how to contact them
- A place where local clubs, schools and non-profit making organisations can have their own free webspace
- A directory for local businesses to be listed free, or to pay extra for an enhanced entry, their own webspace or to place advertisements
- Ways to link to other community sites nearby
- Local news, events and a forum for issues that are affecting our area.
The site will always be under construction, because you can contribute. Carry on and use the site and the links to other resources. You only need to register as an individual or an organisation if you want to contribute your own material, request some webspace, or announce an event on this site. If you are a member of an organisation based in, or serving Whitwell, Crambe or Kirkham, then you can have your own website within the Local Channel. For non-commercial organisations, this is free. Businesses can have a free listing and have the option to pay for a website (at a very reasonable rate - part of which is returned to the Parish Council to use for the community).
If you want more guidance see the news section below, or contact your parish administrator by e-mailing siteadmin@crambe.net
